Don't Stop Berievin'

I guess I'm turning into an old puss. I nearly cried while watching this. A great story about Journey's new lead singer who, by the way, sounds as good as- if not better- than Steve Perry.

No, this wasn't the laziest post ever.

Nobes -- while I can't help but respect the uplifting sentiment behind your post, I must respectfully disagree. All that story did was depress me. You mean to tell me, those clowns fired Steve Perry? Are you kidding me? I mean, do I think there's a place in the current music scene for Journey? To put it bluntly, God no. But still, Steve Perry is Journey. Journey is his voice and you can't fire him, If he quits, then maybe you try to find a replacement. (Provided said replacement is not Filipino--I mean, come on! You think because he has long, black stringy hair like Steve Perry, people won't notice?) But, no, when people are only paying to see you for nostalgia, you don't fire the face and voice of the band. Speaking of which, if I recall, didn't they indeed find a replacement singer prior to this guy who looked creepily exactly like Steve Perry? By the way, not someone you'd ever like to look like. Unless, of course, you're looking for work as the new replacement lead singer for Journey. Which this guy was. Man, I'm so confused right now.

By the way, I love that even though you mention how moved you were by the story, you still manage to make fun of his race with your genius post title. Classy.
